Subject: New 310xt user.....having a sync issue
Just did my first workout with my new 310 and I can't seem to get the watch to sync with the usb drive.  I have done all of the software upgrades that I think I am supposed to be doing and I have enabled it on the watch, but when I go to upload information, it just says  "No device found".

Has anyone else had this happen??  Any advice or should I get Garmin support involved but last time I used them it took awhile for them to get back to me on my 305.

BTW:  I love the new watch, as it seems much smaller than the 305.

Do you have "Pair with New Devices" set to "On" in the ANT Agent?

While near the computer, go into your settings on the watch and select transfer Data.  I was stuck with the same issue at first, but that seemed to fix it and is automatic now.

Marma:  I have turned that feature "on"

Mc:  I will try that tonight when i get home. 

Hopefully it is just a one time setting that needs to be changed and then it will pick it up.

Garmin is very helpful. Let me know if you need their tech support number. I have a 310 that I sent back. This is the second time. I am waiting for a new one. Until they get me a unit that works I will keep sending it back. Syncing was an issue for this one and it would stop working in the middle of a workout.

Thanks for all the help.  I didn't get the chance to do the manual "data send" last night and am hopefully going to do that at lunch today.  I will let you know if that works or not, otherwise, it looks like I will have to call Garmin.
