Onion Man Triathlon : Official Thread

I am so stoked! I'm just wishing for a nice cloudy day with no wind - it got a bit hot by the end of the run last year. But at least the water's not too cold. I went for a swim in Bennington Lake a week ago and after one minute of hyperventilating I was fine, so by race day it should be good 

This will be my first time in this race, so I'm pretty stoked too.  And it'll be my first race that is longer than a sprint.  Did you swim with a wetsuit?  I'm really wanting to get mine in the water up here at Medical Lake, but I heard it's still in the low 50s temperature range.  I've swam in cold water, but I'm not a fan of it.  Decisions decisions...

I did wear a wetsuit. Actually almost everyone does. Last year the water was warm enough you could have been ok without one, but you definitely want one this year - the weather's been pretty cool and rainy. I went for a swim in Bennington Lake a couple weeks ago and I was very glad for my wetsuit!
