Subject: RE: Pi$$ed Shirts are always nice. They are like vintage rock Tees to me, but with a more personal connection as I know what I went through in the race. That is my attachement. Yes, there are some ugly ones, but everytime put on a race shirt, I remember the cramps, the sweat, passing people, getting passed, hating it, loving it, and last but not least, my time. Every time. So, yes the T-shirt is somewhat important, but don't let it affect your race attitude. Poor planning on their part is no excuse. I am sure you will get something out of it besides the experience.
Another good SW Michigan Tri is Three Rivers. It is Olympic distance. I am up in the air on doing this race, as I am locked in to races before and after that race, and my body needs the break at times.
Look into the 3 rivers, or... there is one in Ft. Wayne, and that isn't all that far away either!
