Today is the last day for students at my school (I teach HS English/US History).  Bittersweet since we aren't sure we will have the funding to be open in the fall.

The sad thing is, they don't necessarily get better as adults.
It makes you wonder if they are really paying those thousands of dollars when they registered to college.
What would make you pay, then show up late and not do the work?
