PETE!!!!I'll be running this! I started Bootcamp with Anchor Fitness, so I'll be sporting an Anchor Fitness shirt---I'm not quite sure what my trainer has signed me up for 4mile vs 10mile.....its a surprise.....joy, seeing I really haven't trained for either. But I'll be there.....my son is doing the fun run/walk too!

Hi!
I'll be doing the 4 mile. My first and longest race yet. Looking forward to it!

Too bad I didn't check this before I left. I didn't know they had a beer tent!
Funny story, though, Aidana. My fiance, Kevin Molina, said he went to prom with you! He just happend to be looking over my shoulder while I was reading this.  Small world!
Hope everyone's race went well!

Great race, great weather, great people. Spent the day at North Beach with the family afterward to complete the day. 65min was the goal, but I'll take 66. Did not know  there was beer there until I got home. Maybe a good thing, though.

Rough day for me, 1:36 including a trip to the woods to relief my morning over hydration around mile 7. the prior weeks layoff for shin splints was good for my shin , bad for my legs -a bit rusty.

I told myself run it at 70.3 race pace , but got sucked into trying for 1:30, 5 miles into it , right on traget 45 mins exact, but the heat and bathroom stop crush the 1:30 goal. 4 weeks from now if I run 9:42 pace for 13.1 I'd be crazy happy. Just not happy with today.

On lighter note good to see some old faces and had a couple  free brews.

Rough day for me as well.  I didn't eat nearly enough the night before or the morning of.  Finished at 1:39.

I think I saw Raytown Pete near the starting line, but didn't get close enough to say hi.
