Swim
Comments: Non-USAT race so wet suits were legal. For one of the first times I was actually able to draft in the first part of this race. I drafted off the lead swimmers in the wave until the first buoy and then I got tangled up with some slower swimmers in one of the previous waves. Rest of the swim was uneventful. What would you do differently?: Keep swimming hard and practicing open water swimming. Transition 1

Comments: Good bike for me. I pushed the pace hard from the beginning. Best bike split I've had on this course. What would you do differently?: More miles & more intervals in training. Transition 2
Comments: Fastest in AG! What would you do differently?: Keep practicing and pushing. Run
Comments: I thought I was leading my AG when I got off the bike. Turns out I was second. I got passed by my buddy Bobby around the 1 mile mark and another guy in my AG passed me around mile 2. Need to run harder/faster. What would you do differently?: Need to be more consistent w/ my run training. Post race
Warm down: Crossed finish line and thought about vomiting. Held off the vomit and sat in the lake w/ my buddy Bobby. Hung out waiting for awards, but the set up computer crashed and the awards ceremony was cancelled. Pleased w/ my effort today. Course PR! What limited your ability to perform faster: My run is still holding me back. I need to be more consistent w/ my weekly mileage along w/ some harder running. Last updated: 2010-06-15 12:00 AM

Woke up @ 5 like usual. Ate PB&J and sipped on some G'Ade on the way to the park.
Fifteen min easy bike w/ a couple of pickups thrown in. Short run w/ some pickups. Followed by about 5 min or so of swimming.
