I had my usual breakfast, bagel and banana. Arrived at race site early and set up my station.

Good bike. I would have liked to have gone faster but it wasn't too bad. Passed 6-7 people which was nice.

Run was slow which was to be expected. I have been sick all week and knew the run was going to be a challenge.

Event comments:

The transition area was not well organized. Many people did not have a place to put there bike. Other areas had too much traffic between runners and bikers. It is only the second year of this year so I understand there are still glitches but I'm not sure if I would do this again. I like that I placed in my age group which is a first for me!!I think this is an ok race for first timers.
