I am in For august 1st!

Its looking like the weather may cooperate - weather.com forecasting a high of 78 for Sunday.  Anyone have any idea what the river temp is at the confluence?

no clue. Doesn't look good for wet suits. I went down the other day. Water was 80 something....If it doesn't drastically cool down. Its going to be not wet suit legal 

Overnight temps look like they should be in the 60's - if it doesn't go above the low 80's in the day time for the 3 days before it might be enough to get the water down to wetsuit range.  It looks like most of the Oly swim is downstream once you get to the Clemente bridge, so shouldn't be a huge deal if we don't get to wear the suits.

i hear that quarter of it going up is killer!
especially if we get a strong current.
Which i hope is not the case!  

Just hope i can get enough rest to recover and perform the best i can

First timer doing the PGH tri tomorrow and am not from the area.  Anyone done this before and have any comments on the bike loop.  Ride out seems all up hill?  Thoughts?

its pretty small up hill. with maybe one or two really noticable onces.
High cadence you shouldn't even feel it that much.
