Pre-race routine:

Worked all day and drove up from Boston. Set up camp and rode to the course with Colin. We then rode around a little to warm up. Probably about 4 miles or so all told.
  • 13m 25s
  • 4.48 miles
  • 20.03 mile/hr

Pretty tough race for it being so short. I started off on flat going like 23 or so. Then killed the downhill at like 28-30. Then dropped my chain on the turn around, lost all momentum, and suffered up the hill due to lack of training and being a fat ass.
What would you do differently?:

Dropped chain really killed me. A minute would have been a huge difference in placement even being out of shape against a very very good field. Everyone had KILLER bikes and were very good athletes.
Post race
Warm down:

talked to Colin and few people and watch people finish.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Being fat and out of shape and dropping my chain.

Dropping a chain in a 4.5 mile TT = probably not a very good overall time.  Lol, yeah, not sure what you can do about that.  Awesome job getting it back on and still putting up a respectable number!  You're gonna smoke that next year!
