Subject: RE: My asics are giving me blisters!I used the Asics 2xxx series for years. I would (very ) occasionally get a blister on one arch or the other, but nothing too bad, and they would usually heal in a couple of days. At first I had no problems with the 2130s, but then I started getting really bad blisters on both arches, at the same time. It got to the point where it happened every time I ran in them. I noticed if I pulled back the insole in the arch area, the dense, inflexible midsole material extends pretty high up. I assume that this is what caused the blisters. I compared some of my older Asics, and they weren't nearly as bad. I'm now wearing a pair of 1140's which the midsole does not extend as high up and they work great. Also I am rotating them with a pair of Nike Lunarglides which seem to work okay too. Oh yeah by the way, google Asics 2150 blisters and you'll see a lot of people saying they have problems with them too. Edited by Crazy Pirate 2010-07-16 7:29 PM
