Comments: I didn't know Christine (Lucy), but she appeared frequently in the forums, and her commentary was always fun and friendly. I was shocked when she became so seriously ill...and she was still posting. I cried a lot when I heard she had died. I just couldn't believe it. I had never met her, but I felt like she was a friend. So, I am happy and honored to participate in this annual run in her honor. I just spent some quiet time on the treadmill thinking about how lucky I am to do what I do. Thanks, Christine. A little rewriting of William Blake's poem, The [Butter]fly Little [butter]fly Thy summer's play My thoughtless hand Has brushed away. Am not I A [butter]fly like thee? Or art not thou A man like me? For I dance And drink and sing, Till some blind hand Shall brush my wing. If thought is life And strength and breath And the want Of thought is death; Then am I A happy [butter]fly, If I live, Or if I die? Post race

I had originally planned to do this as part of a brick on Thursday, but did not get to the run that day, so it became my brick on Saturday instead.
I guess 100+ miles on the bike counts as a warmup.
