Overall Rank = 52/465
Age Group = 15-19
Age Group Rank = 3/12
Pre-race routine:

Another 6pm Wednesday race. I went with my typical race foods the day before of pizza and several apples(fiber fiber fiber ;)). I didn't eat much that morning. I finished off some more pizza and stopped eating at 2pm.
Event warmup:

No warmup for this one.
Swim
  • 15m 43s
  • 880 yards
  • 01m 47s / 100 yards
Comments:

Best OWS of my life. I made sure not to start too fast and burn out. I kept it steady and felt great the entire way. Sighting was good, and I managed to follow some feet for most of it.
What would you do differently?:

Train more and be faster.
Transition 1
  • 00m 34s
Comments:

Smooth.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Bike
  • 35m 18s
  • 12.4 miles
  • 21.08 mile/hr
Comments:

I barely drank anything as per my plan. I felt great and I rode hard. I felt prepared for the course because I remembered it from before.
What would you do differently?:

Train more.
Transition 2
  • 00m 44s
Comments:

I almost took a wrong turn coming into transition but it didn't cost too much time. Everything else felt great.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Run
  • 21m 50s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 07m 02s  min/mile
Comments:

I barely drank anything as per my plan to prevent GI issues. I dumped a cup of water on myself at every water station. I pushed the pace from the beginning and felt much faster. I kept it steady and hard. For the last mile I picked up the pace to run with someone who was cruising. I kept up and eventually dropped him to my surprise. Great run, great finish.
What would you do differently?:

More speedwork.
Post race
Warm down:

I didn't warmdown at all. I layed down after the finish and started to eat/drink.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Speed. I executed the perfect race for the day. I controlled everything within my box.

Event comments:

Another great race by Running Fit.

Nice race!  I wish I could run that fast after the swim and bike.  I haven't done a sprint yet but if the oly I did is similar I couldn't do it.  My fastest standalone 5k is only slightly faster than your time here.
