Subject: Raby Bay 17 October, anyone doing this? Hi, Just downloaded my sprint tri plan and will be entering the USM Tri at Raby Bay. This will be my first tri so I'm a bit apprehensive but also quite excited! I'm a lifesaver so can cope with the ocean swimming and have done a few 1km ocean swimming events, I also run and recently did my first half-marathon (Gold Coast ) so the running should be ok. My main area to work on will be the bike, I've only done the occasional ride on a mountain bike with the kids so I've got a bit of work to do!!! How much riding do you need to do per week to get to a reasonable level? Cheers, Dave |
