Current weather forecast is 30% isolated T-storms. Lets just hope they will be isolated to an area other than the race site!! Low of 66... that can't be right, it's just now getting to be mid summer for us!

70% chance it will be cloudy and dry - perfect race conditions.

Even if it rains, the bike course is mostly straight so it shouldn't be too tricky. And running in the rain is, well, running in the rain. Beats running on most dry days in houston with heat and humidity.

71 degrees at race start. 30% chance of rain. T-Storms are early in the morning IF they just so happen drift by that part of Cypress. 6-10am it's a slight chance of some drizzle it sounds like. Says rain not storms so either way we should be good to go. Strap an umbrella to your bike and roll!

Good to hear that things will still go on as planned if there is just rain.  This is my end of season race, I didn't want to train all year for parts of the race to be cancelled Smile

I'm 100% okay with a nice over cast day! If it's gonna rain I hope it waits till the run! I haven't had to ride my bike in the rain yet and I would prefer my first time not be during a race!

Good luck to all this weekend!

why would you want to ride in the rain if you don't have to? I think everyone's first time riding in the rain should be in a race

I will be missing this race because of injury but I am a big 'nothing new on race day'  I have ridden in the rain several times.  I want to know how my bike handles so I can be prepared.  I don't go out when it is pouring rain on purpose but I'm not going to get a little rain get in my way of a ride.
Also keep in mind this is a very flat course so no fast downhills.

Aaron - will there be mechanical support in transition tomorrow morning for tire inflation? I rolled into town and realized I forgot my crack pipe and pump.

thanks

NEVERMIND - I answered my own question by being proactive and looking at the race packet. I see that Bike World will be on site for mechanical needs.

Nice shirt. I got a large, thought I asked for a medium. Should've looked before I left.

6 hours of cleanup after over 36 hours of setup (with no sleep) can do that to a team Laughing I am posting now on website and the results can always be found almost right away at eztoregister.com.

Hope everyone had a great time out there. We loved putting this race on for you.

Awesome race! What a cool run course! bike was flat and fast...at least it was when we were heading south! swim to bike transition was a bit long, but i think this jsut adds to the unique flavor of this race. besides, I think it helped me get my HR under control before the ride.

On Ur Mark is a top notch race production outfit!
