Pre-race routine:

Mr. Dan and I got up. I drank some coffee, had a PBNJ, sipped on some HEED
Event warmup:

Ran 5-7 minutes easy just to warm up, rode about 5 min to get shoes on and in the right gear (slight uphill mount), and then wet suit on and in the water for about 10 minutes of easy / hard swimming

That was really just an overall great race. Lots of fun - good course - extremely well organized - athlete friendly.

I was at a terrible race the week prior in the suburbs of Chicago.
