Make sure to hit the massage table after the race and focus on refueling and rest the next couple days but otherwise just follow your plan. By "rest" I am referring to sleep, I personally perfer some light biking or swimming the day after a hard effort as I feel it facilitates recovery. Others prefer a full day off. You will be fine for your race whatever you do, however. |
