Boulder Sunset Triathlons Postponed!

The proposed revised date is the same as the Oktoberfest tri in Longmont as well.  I've registered for both so no matter it looks like I'll be out almost $100.  Better than being out a house like some other people impacted by the fire so I should not complain too much.

Yea I have to work on the proposed make up date so I'll have to burn a vacation day or work out a trade...

Does anyone know the new date????

I can't imagine it's easy to get an entire race moved on such short notice.  I'm impressed that they are going to be able to do it and in just two weeks.

I really hope they go ahead and reschedule! And I hope they get that fire out soon! I'll be so very disappointed if it's totally cancelled and we're out money. At least it looks like they are still donating the charity money. If it is cancelled, I guess I'll still wear the shirt!

Yea I give them a lot of props for trying to reschedule.

The Boulder Marathon had also been scheduled for the same fateful weekend and was in need of rescheduling.  It now has been finalized as October 3rd so I assume that Boulder officials are getting back to event organizers impacted by the fire.  Hopefully they have also contacted Your Cause Sports about the proposed date and there will be some sort of announcement soon.

Women's Adventure Magazine has already rescheduled their big event at Boulder Reservoir for September 26th.  They did this over a week ago, and it's an all day event, from 10am until 5pm.

I was incorrect about the Boulder Marathon.  It was originally scheduled for the 19th and was postponed.  It is still on for the 3rd.

I wish they would let us know!! Yes, the women's adventure day looks like it's going on the 26th.....

hey everyone..... decided to try an email even though they said they wouldn't reply to them. Well, they replied!!! Said they are still working on it but were sure they were getting a yes or no today. Sept. 26th is still the proposed date, and the women's adventure day will still be going on at the res as well. Hopefully they will update the website soon!!

I just checked the website @ 8:45 pm and it has a date and time listed for the tri, September 26th, 2-3 pm. 

So I'm guessing we're a go!
