I don't think the extra mile+ on the bike was a big deal at all.  Though now the winners mugs need to get the bike distance changed on them .  It was kinda funny standing near the results sheet and hearing people wonder why their bike avg speeds were so slow.

As long as everyone covers the same distance, not sure there is anything to complain about.  Those were some tricky turns coming into T2 though.

This is the most enjoyable event for me since I started doing tri's a few years ago.  I wondered about that 'missing turn' coming back on the bike, but just stood up and mashed pedals for 1/2 the hill on the return... 12.8/9 matches up w/the average speed my Cateye had, and still a fun course.
And the strippers on the hill after swimming was a nice touch, saved me an extra ~minute in transition

I think it was right after the awards when someone stopped by the timing tent - - that's when it clicked that I gave our course people the wrong info. It's funny - we were in my truck when we went over the course, and I had the accurate course map right on the dashboard. Our bike course coordinator has worked a bunch of events with us in Cherry Creek, so I didn't bother to give him the map, since he knows the roads so well. I'll chalk it up to 1 hour of sleep in the front seat of my pick-up.

The Crescent Moon is a great event.  I don't think that anyone is complaining about the extra mileage on the bike. It is just a discussion re. the odd times that showed up on the results page.
I loved the wetsuit stripper addition!!

The wetsuit strippers were a great addition, but I could have done without the stairs after the swim :P

Wetsuit strippers rock!!!!!! Great race! I was supposed to race the boulder sunset, but when it got postponed I had to change my race as I will not be able to make the new date - glad I did!
