Does anyone know where these can be found? I'm in BC, but quite close to Washington, if that helps...

Thanks.

Cute, but thanks. Obviously, I missed the obvious.

I suppose that what I actually need to know is if anyone has any personal experience with a place that does a good job on these.

If you have a pretty standard prescription, you can get optical swim goggles "over the counter" now. You can find them on-line from lots of sellers... FWIW, I have astigmatism, but purchased a standard pair of optical swim goggles, and they work fine for me for swimming, both in the pool and in open water. I got a pair from swimoutlet.com for < $20....

x2.  I have 3 or 4 pairs - some dark for outdoor swims and a pair of clear for indoor.  I've gotten them several places, just asking for a specific diopter correction.  Even though I have astigmatism and the one eye is a little worse than the other, the same correction is good enough for both eyes to see where I am going and even read the clock on the wall. There are some that you can get different lenses in each side if your eyes are too different for the same correction.

If you don't know what diopter to get, either ask your optomitrist, or if you live near a dive shop, try the diopter corrected lenses they will have for dive masks.

Try http://www.aquagoggles.com/

Its a Canadian outfit that makes goog goggles and is quite resonably priced.

+1 on swimoutlet.  I've used their own brand for 2 years & been very happy.  Solid customer service too.

BTW- If your prescription is different for your eyes or if your script is not an even number, most advise to go with the next power down.  For example if your correction is -3.25/-3.50, go with -3 goggles.

Depending on where you are in B.C., you can probably get them locally instead of going across the border. I use the Speedo Optical swim goggles and they're great... I get mine at Swimco, and other local swim/surf shops carry them too.

My husband gets the speedo optical and said he could see better than his glasses.

Try the cheap type first before investing in expensive prescription ones.

I ordered a pair of Speedo ones from swimoutlet.com and am really happy with them. So I went back and ordered a dark lensed one as well.  They help me see a lot while swimming plus they help in running my way to transition if I don't take them off right away.
