Sorry if this isn't the most "politically correct" post here on BT!

I have been downloading my workouts to Garmin Connect (from a 310xt), but would like to upgrade to something with a little more "analytical horsepower" - just the way my mind works I guess!

I'm obviously aware of the options here at BT, but wondered if anyone also has any experience of using trainingpeaks.com to track/analyse?

Also...   can anyone comment on their WKO+ dowloadable software program?  It seems to be pretty comprehensive - is it worth the money?  (noting that I train with heart rate, but don't (yet) have a powermeter on my bike).

Thanks!

Huh....  only just saw Izude's post on tracking systems...   sorry if this is somewhat redundant.  Still very interested in opinions though - esp. re: WKO+

I've been using wko+ for last 5 years. I love it...really good program.

Are you training with power? It is excellent.

I know there are other options and some are free.

I've downloaded the free 14 day trial and have saved a few workouts from the computrainer on it.  It looks like it is really comprehensive.  I get lots of pretty graphs.  I have no idea what they mean or what i am looking at!! LOLThen again I have only loaded 3 work outs so Im not sure I would see anything or have anything to analyze yet anyway.

Kathy - I'm not training with power yet, but perhaps Santa will be kind to me!

Are you, perhaps, saying that WKO+ is only of real value if you have power?

One other issue that may come into play for me:   I'm thinking of hiring a coach in the new year, so I guess that I should also see if they have any favorite programs for analysis etc.

If you aren't training with power, I would suggest not purchasing WKO+.

bt for all works
wko+ for cycling w/power

i see no reason to log workouts there if you don't have power.  might as well get garmin training center.

don't need WKO if you don't have power.

I use training peaks myself and also have my cients use it and they never have any problems. Works really well if you stay on top of putting all the info into the software and website.

WKO doesn't work on MACs and is a waste if you don't have power, but training peaks works very well

Thanks all.  It sounds as if I should hold off until I have power.
