Comments: Started too fast. Should have started at about a 7:10 Mile and held that flat the whole way. I need to do more long runs. What would you do differently?: I need to do more long runs. I need to start slow. I wanted to run negative spilts. Once the race started I couldn't slow down as much as I needed. Of course I feel good at the beginning, I just started. I want to feel better at the end. Post race
Warm down: Walk to the car for warm clothes, walk back for more food and awards, walk back to the car and drive home. Was feeling less stiff after the walking. What limited your ability to perform faster: No speed work, Not enough long runs, and my long runs are trails and hilly. Event comments: It was a lot of fun. I will be doing it again real soon(if next year is soon.) Good practice for my longer tris to come. 65/220 in my age group. Last updated: 2004-01-12 12:00 AM
