Comments: Felt good the first 10 miles. Averaged about 7:45/mile... it started warming up and I had to take off my Brewers winter hat(which I got a few 'go brewers' comments on! gotta love my Wisconsin people!) then mile 11-13.1 the cramps started in the legs and my lower back was hurting... dropped down to 10:00/miles. What would you do differently?: Not play so much softball and drink so much the days before...  Post race
Warm down: Sat and waited for everyone else to finish. Then waited for Bret Michaels and had a great time jamming out! Didn't think he would be as good as he was... Lots of fun! What limited your ability to perform faster: tiredness Event comments: The course was good, but I liked it better last year... too many turns at the north end of the Strip. Pasta'd it up on Saturday night and rested. Shouldn't have played 2 softball games Friday night and then go out drinking on the Strip after... then wake up early and play 2 more games... Bad Idea!!
Sat in traffic till I got to some back roads I know to find parking... just enough time to check my bag and get to my corral that had Cookie Monster, Elmo, and Big Bird in!!!
