Subject: January World TourFor those of us who would like to venture out and see more of the world but can't, here's a fun challenge we can do.  I'll post the month's destination, a brief history/description, and the task at hand.  The goal is to make it all the way from point A to point B using the method indicated before the month is up.   For instance, January's location is Rome, Italy.  We will be competing in the Roman Circus Maximus where chariot races were held.  A chariot race consisted of racing 7 laps on a track 5080 feet in circumference.  A single race would be 6.7 miles, but there were 24 races per day.  Our goal is to complete all 24 races (161 miles ) on a bike before February 1.  Any bike can be used. Any takers?  Don't let me be the only one! |
