Can someone who has done this describe the course.

 1.  Large crowd, small, average.    2. Swimming in the lake, clear, muddy.  Waves?  3.  Bike course, flat, hills, rough, smooth?  4.  Run course, tables every mile?  hills?  I've done White Lake 1/2, Augusta HIM 2x, IMKY, so wondering how this one compares.

Been there done that.  Perfect size crowd, lake was clear and calm, bike course was hilly and mostly smooth, run course was an out and back with what I thought, was plenty of tables, small rollling hills I would say.  It was my prep for IMKY and it fit the bill very well.  Take IMKY and cut in in two.

Good luck.

Did it last yr 5:49. Planned on doing it again this yr in prep fro IMLOU but feel its "to far" out june 6th? Opted for 70.3 Muncie.
Nice lake swim, hilly bike start to finish and hilly HOT/Humid run.
Dont push the pace eairly in the run or you'll pay for it by mile 8!! Heat index last yr was 108 on the run....enjoy
