Subject: Mountaineer Triathlon - Half Ironman : Official Thread
 I just started 24 week training program for this race.  Anyone else planning on competing? A little concerned about the swim against current in the river. Any input from previous finishers appreciated!

I'm doing it.  It will be my first half.  Excited and nervous.  Really nervous now that you mentioned the river current.

Pretty sure I'm in. It'll be my warm up for IM Louisville. I live in Somerset, PA so it's only about an hour or so my house. Perfect for a day trip.

Trying to convince the wife to make it a weekend get away from the kids.
