Yeap, all the time, maybe not in front of people but often they get tortured by mistake, similar to second hand smoke, indirect but deadly.

Until recently i had a jeep wrangler and drove around with the top down all the time, anyways one day i was listening to Dave Matthews "Crash into Me" and singing along with a lot of inspiration.  I came to a stop at a redlight and i hear someone laughing, when i look to my left there is this woman with her windows down cracking up, she looks at me and asks me if i am making up my own song.

I though i knew the song pretty well, i love it after all, needless to say that i looked up the lyrics later on and she was correct, i had so many parts wrong, too many to list....Later i discovered that i do that with songs that i really like....Go figure...

"Rock the Cat Box" -- I think my mother will be scarred for life for that one.  Somedays my brother and I feel bad for convincing her that that was the tune.  Went on for months until someone corrected her.

Mrs gearboy had a friend in HS who used to sing along with that Go-Go's song "Olives have peels".

I just confessed one to my wife, she was not impressed. I was pretty sure they were saying "there's a bathroom on the right", not sure why they would say that, but it sounded right. Apparently there is a bad moon on the rise, no bathrooms involved.

Then there is always "dirty deeds with the dunder chief".

Husband is convinced that The Who's "Who Are You?" used in the title credits of CSI is actually Cool Water. ooo  oooo ....Everytime the show comes on he starts singing it...makes me laugh everytime.  But he also thought that New Zealand was up by Canada...but that is a different thread.

At least she didn't say Alan Quatermain from General Hospital .....

And what about Elton john's female friend and her electric bewbs?

You mean "It's a heartache" instead of "it's a hard egg" by Bonnie Tyler...that makes no sense...oh wait...yes it does. Busted singing along to it when I was about 8yrs old in a car full of kids & family. Talk about a quick correction.
