i would love to upgrade my wheels but before i dish out 1600 bucks or so i would like to try some out, i'm pretty small and have been told that if i can't put out enough wattage than any "fast aero" wheel would be a huge disadvantage in any windy or hilly situation. help.
Depending on the area there are a number of races that may have dealers that rent bikes/wheels for a race. Not terribly cheap, but cheaper than shelling our over a grand for something you end up hating. If you're worried about getting blown around there are lots of "pseudo"-aero wheels that are less prone to acting like a sail.
