anyone know the current water temp in the lake?

I made my list of things I need to do day before and what I need to take with me.

Funny, the only time I write lists is when I am getting ready for a race.

good luck to everyone on Sunday

zlr101 - 2011-06-02 9:46 AM This is my first tri i am nervous. i took a loop on the bike course 3 weeks ago alot of up and down but eases off by the end of the course, the run is fun like a cross country course. I just have to get through the swim i am going no wetsuit it shouldnt be that cold. The weather looks to be about perfect.

Good luck!

Good luck everyone!  I'm doing the Olympic, my first triathlon this year and my first Olympic.

haven't rode the bike course yet, but plan on driving it on Saturday to get an idea for the hills.

Found this profile of the course on mapmyride: http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/30711240#climbs

Figurethat after the first big climb, ending around mile 9, its not "that" bad

My friend is at the packet pick-up. Looks like the lake is open.

I'm gonna be there tomorrow.  I went swimming with and without my wetsuit on Tuesday.  I felt it was a little too warm for the wetsuit for me personally, and I'm not too used to swimming in it so I'm not bringing it.

This is my first time so I might need to borrow your paper bag lol

I just got home from the race.  I completed the sprint and it was a great time.  CGI racing, the PA state police, fire police, and volunteers did a great job.  I have nothing bad to say about it!  Traffic control was great, my stuff was safe in transition, and I had no problems except that I suck at swimming

Some of the hills were pretty brutal, but I live here so I was used to them, as a matter of fact I regularly ride about 60% of what we did for the sprint course.

I felt that everything was going great till I got diced on the bike by a 14 year old girl.  may she go pro one day.

I hope everyone had a great race!  Sorry the clinic wasn't able to go through yesterday!

What will you change if anything for your next race?

Congratulations to everyone that raced and I hope to see you at other races this year!

I cannot believe this race is done. I ended up having great time even thought my time was so not great. Really needed that paper bag on the bike course. It was insane. INSANE!

I thought the race was run pretty great.  no real complaints.  other than I would like to be a faster swimmer by next year

Listened in on your Q&A about the swim on Saturday, was helpful thanks.  Question - is endurance multisport doing anything for Pocono 70.3?  Riding the course in advance, holding swims or other events prior to the race?

Thanks
