Run
Comments: I gave up 18 seconds per mile as compared to last year. And I lost 2 places in my age group. I haven't done any training outside of maintenece runs so far this year so this is expected. The course was very familiar so i knew that I could hang on but it was definitely a struggle. I felt like I had a real dip in energy and power at just before the 2 mile mark. I just tried to hang onto the pace and hear the footsteps at the finish sprint. I cranked it up to sub-6 for the last .10 What would you do differently?: Not too much I could do. If I was feeling ball-sy today I could have tailed one of the last people to pass me and hang on for a better finish time but I knew I had not put enough in the bank this year to come out of that with a positive expreience.
