Comments: My calf was letting me run at about a 9:30 pace comfortably. Not sure about how the hills would work with it but I managed to climb them all except the last. It gets pretty steep about half way up and got painful so I walked it and got a gel down at the same time. Overall I felt much better than expected considering the limited amount of long run training I have done lately. What would you do differently?: Wake up on time. Post race
Warm down: Lots of food at the finish and the wind was whipping through pretty good. We had planned to stay for UofL's final open practice but did not bring a dry shirt and I was freezing so we left. What limited your ability to perform faster: Calf pain. Last updated: 2011-02-04 12:00 AM

Nothing, we over slept because we stayed up until about 1:00 am the night before watching basketball.
Quick 1 mile run to the race start, bathroom break and the gun went off.
