Run
Comments: Plan was to run 8:00/mile for first run... mission accomplished! What would you do differently?: Run faster... I learned that I could have pushed it harder! Transition 1
Comments: Did my first flying mount... a little rough but manageable... more practice required. Happy with T1 though... What would you do differently?: Had a problem getting left cleat to lock into pedal... was through T1 at that point but slow start on bike as a result! Bike
Comments: My best time on that course by nearly a minute... training is paying off, new bike fit paying off... VERY happy with ride! What would you do differently?: Pedal technique needs to improve. AVG Wattage= 208 Transition 2
Comments: My best T2 yet! FASTEST T2 IN THE ENTIRE FIELD!!! New tri shoes make a difference! What would you do differently?: Nothing on this one! Run
Comments: Plan was to run at what ever pace the body would give me... both calves were slightly cramped at beginning but smoothed out with run. What would you do differently?: Run faster! I could have pushed the HR a bit but fell back into what felt comfortable... Post race
Warm down: Fluid Recovery drink, light stretching of hamstrings, banana and a beer! What limited your ability to perform faster: Mental toughness to push myself to the edge! Event comments: My training on the hills of Prattville coupled with running and riding the course a couple of times certainly helped out tremendously. 27th male finisher of 63 total 41st finisher of 133 total Splits R1- 35th T1- 13th B- 25th T2- 1st R2- 32nd Last updated: 2010-12-11 12:00 AM
