Yeah, it takes us 5 hours from here, so we're usually get there around 10 or so.  We still gots plenty of room!  I reserved the 10 person cabin, I believe.

The list as it stands now:

Karen & Eric
Kyle & Jessica
Shellee
Dana +1 (?)
Lynnie
Mike (?)

Did I miss anyone?

And, we can always get another cabin.  It's not like they've got a lot going on that weekend...

Uhhhh! Who's Jessica??? (; Kyle have a new girl?

Eileen is going to be in LA and is working on a plan to get herself up to LSA for the weekend. She has joined the boards, so I imagine she will let you know herself once she decides. If you want to check in on her, she's under eafilomeno, I believe.

Yeah, Jessica is Kyle's girlfriend.  She was a volunteer at Wildflower last year, actually, although I don't believe that's where they met.

So, I'll take off the "+1" and check with Eileen directly.

I'm also checking with Zack, Jenny and Nancy as well.

i'm negotiating childcare as we speak...although we aren't "speaking" right now, are we? but I am...i mean, not to you, but to steve and have saaid, "I'm thinking of doing a training weekend first week of november, can you watch jack?" I've gotten a non commital..."hmmmm," but could be in as he doesn't start coaching til that monday at which point i will become a sports widow for the next 6 months...not that we're married (oh horrors!) and not that he's dead (which would be bad)

if there is room, i should have him "committed" or "not committed" next week.

how did you guys do with your relay this weekend?

how did you guys do with your relay this weekend?

All things considered, it went very well, thank you!

I really really really hope you can come (as I think I've said a million times already!).  We miss you, Nancy!!

The list as it stands now (9+):
Karen & Eric
Kyle & Jessica
Shellee
Dana
Eileen
Lynnie
Mike
Nancy (?)

I've invited several of the folks from my relay this weekend, and think at least one or two will join us.  If we need to, we can either get a larger cabin, or a second cabin, so "space" is not an issue.

You'd serve your son Old Milwaukee?  Isn't that like some sort of child abuse?

Yes, well, that's all fine and good... he's an adult and can make his own decisions about such things!  Jack is just an impressionable boy, though, and I know you'd like to expose him to the finer things in life!  Like maybe some Sierra Nevada, at the least!

By the way, when am I going to get to meet this elusive "Steve"?

    Sierra Nevada...mmmmmmmm

okay, negotiations complete.....steve gets his own "training weekend" and I get mine....

    count me in.

oh, and you'll get to meet him, if not before then, definitely at the "4th annual 'Holy Crap! What is that?' Post Holiday Party" this January. (wow, i can't believe I'm going on my 4th annual...how time flies)

I'll have to see if that will be a good excuse to get Lara down here into the Bay Area for the weekend, yes?

I know I'm already on the list of people going to this, but I also wanted to officially announce that I'm going to be doing both Long and Olympic again next year. I was so damn close to my goals (sub 6 Long, and a sub 3 Olympic) that being sick had to be the only reason I didn't reach them. So, this time I'm going to try doing it while not sick. =)

Yes.  He did that last year too.  After having been sick for a week before.  He's certifiable.

Me, I'll be happy to complete the Oly without dying.
