Subject: Training Log Questions

Hi everyone... new to BT as of Sunday, but joined as a silver member. Very impressed so far.

 

A couple questions about using the training log. I followed the tutorials and moved around the trainings on the calendar. However, often times, certain ones revert back to where I moved them from. I have continued to try over and over and when I refresh or look at a week's view, the run workout I moved is back where it initially was. Am I missing something? It also reverts back in the blog view and in the emails I get.

 

Lastly, some of notes aren't coordinated either. For example, for today I have a bike and run, but the notes below the detailed workout defines a "pull drill" for swimming. Tomorrow I only have a run, but it includes a message about suing a kickboard. Is this becuase I moved so much around to fit my schedule?

 

I am still getting the hang of all the features, so please put up with my questions! Any additiona advice/direction would be greatly appreciated.

Can you give me a few examples of trying to move a run from one day to another and it didn't stick (give me the 'from' and 'to'  dates).  I will go into your account and do the same thing to see what the issue is. Also, did it revert immediately or a day later?

Regarding the notes, yes, that is because you started moving things around and those are in the 'overall comments' section which don't get moved with a sport.  It's not critical as you can go back to 'Programs' then 'Using our Plans' link for any definitions, videos, etc.

I have had the same problem when using IE7.  It happened last week so I don't remember the exact dates I was trying to switch.  But here's some of the glitches:

I would pick-grab a training square and drag it to the new day and it would not go to the new day right away. Or it would place itself on another day.  I discovered that if I pick-grab the square and try to move it along the top of the square of the day (I wish I could doodle right now,) it would move to the new day faster/easier.  Sometimes this pick-drag worked and other times I had the same issue as he did.  I resolved it by logging off the account and coming back in.

The date functionality is good and it worked for me.  However, when one training square falls on the wrong date where one already has a training session for that sport, then using the date feature won't be helpful because the program will move all the squares not just the sole one you want.

I haven't tried moving the squares at home where I have the lastest Firefox. I'll let you know.
