Snake River Triathlon

I havent heard of it but just looked it up and it looks like fun - this is in Lewiston, right?  I'm always looking for more races in Idaho.  I'll put it on my calendar for next year.  Good luck!

Oh, I just realized that you posted this in Washington so its probably different from the tri that I just checked out.

Did this "tri" for the first time last year.  It's pretty well organized, if I remember correctly it's a fund raiser put on by the local high school cross country running team.  It will be chip timed this year as well, which is a nice addition.  I will be there this weekend, it's a good, early start to the season.

elizabethk, it's likely the same one if it's in Lewiston, ID.  That's only about 100 miles from me in Spokane, WA.

The swim is in Clarkston, Washington and the bike and run is in Lewiston, Idaho. They are basically the same city just on different sides of the border.

Right, I am doing my swim here in Spokane and driving down in the morning.  Big weekend for me as I am also doing the Spokane River Run 25k trail race Sunday.

First time I have ever had one, it was not pleasant.  The trail race is awesome, the scenery is amazing and the course is, at times, very challenging.  I will definitely do it again next year although I am going to step up to the 50k.
