Pre-race routine:

Got up and had a "high carb" breakfast at the hotel, a few breads and a banana. Got Body Marked and checked on Bike and placed camel back on bike etc.
Event warmup:

Putting on wet suit. Really couldn't swim in advance, and being my first tri I wasn't up for being too far away from the start.

What would you do differently?:

Get to the water sooner, and go a little slower. I was worn out on the way to T1.

Was a long distance (2 blocks) from water to transition.
What would you do differently?:

I walked most of the transition a bit out of breath. Would have been better to get out of the water a minute later and jog to T1.

One of the first times I managed to run a 5k without stopping... not bad considering the previous 1.5 hours.
What would you do differently?:

Water/aide was every 1 mile. Should have gotten the aide stuff at T2 and then gotten water at the first mile. If water was any farther apart I should have taken some with me.

Mostly my bike, inexperience, and a touch of panic in the water.
