Comments: First 5 miles were run at 9:52. Last 5 miles were run at 9:32. I did exactly what I'd planned - tried to go 10 m/m for the first half of the race, pick it up in the last 5, and sprint the last 1.5. My last mile was 8:32. Post race
Warm down: Stretch and lots of water. I didn't have anything to eat following the race, so I vomited 6 times when I got home. Had to lie on the couch for an hour because every time I stood up I thought I was going to pass out. Hmmm. I think I had low blood sugar or something. What limited your ability to perform faster: Just need to keep up with my tempo runs. Event comments: The race is a keeper! I'll be doing it again next year!!! Last updated: 2011-04-22 12:00 AM
