So my mother bought me this for my birthday coming up.

http://www.profile-design.com/profile-design/products/hydration/all-hydration/aquacell.html

It has two chambers in it and I'm curious as to what people put in them.  Yes, get the wise cracks out now while you can!  Obviously water and some sort of energy drink.

But the two chambers are different sizes.  Should I be using the bigger chamber for water or Gatorade (or something comparable)?

Depending on the distance. I put water in one cell, and Infinit in the other.

Depends on the race. In FL its hot. I'll fill the removable cell half with water and freeze it overnight. The big cell gets either water or sports drink during set up the next morning.

I tried this once and it drove me nuts- as it thawed large clumps of ice would jiggle as I rode! I only did that once but to each their own. On longer rides I usually put Accelerade in the big one, and water in the small one. Then I take a few sips of accelerade and one sip of the water to rinse, since hours of sugary stuff on my teeth seemed like a bad idea. The water side is also good if you want to take gels.
