Not a great nights sleep, people up partying. Can't wait to race on Sat. next year.
Woke up at 630am, little bit of oatmeal. Brought an uncrustables. Rode down Lynch with Kari to transition. Walked through the routes, listened to my ipod.

Comments:

Had a rough time on the bike. Made it up lynch hill without walking, but it was SLOW! Did well until one of the last hills before turn around. my legs were done so I got off and rested a bit. Good turn around, good at aid stations. next hill on the way back i lost my balance and fell on my left side. didn't have time to un clip. so I walked for a bit just to strech out my hip. tried to help a girl change her flat, but I couldn't stay long cause I was worried about the cut off. Got back on my bike and made it back to trans.
What would you do differently?:

Hills, hills and more hills!!

Hills, hills and more hills again!
Post race
Warm down:

nothing really, streched a bit, hung out our team...San Diego County Firefighters Endurance Sports Team. Long hike back up to the campground, didn't feel so hot for a few hours

What limited your ability to perform faster:

needed more hill training

Event comments:

Very nice job...way to hang in there! Just getting around that circuit is an accomplishment in itself.
