Subject: Blue Triad SP or Argon 18 E112

Looking to purchase a Tri bike and wanted to get some feedback from the field.

Cervelo P3 - I know they are light and everyon says they are great, but test drove one and it doenst seem to work for my frame type.

Argon 18 E112 - just test drove it last week and it felt great.  But warranty says just 3 yrs?

Blue - its blue and pretty, havent found someone to let me test drive one in my size.

What have others thought on Argon and Blue Tri's? 

FYI: F, 5'4", short torso, long legs

Blue has excellent customer service and have a quality product. They tend to fit the "leggy/no torso" types (which I am one of). I am not familiar with Argon, but understand they are also a great bike. I would suggest riding both and getting a fit on both. I was debating between Blue & Specialized Transition and opted for the Transition only because I have a great LBS that carries Specialized brand.

I love the E112. when I was shopping for bikes my LBS had a new E112 and P2 for the same price.  The P2 fit me much better but I really liked the look of the Argon.

From what I understand the Argon bikes really handle well and are very stable. If it fits and the price is right, I wouldn't think twice.

As was mentioned, the Argon and the Blue have very different geometries.  Given the amount of money you're looking at spending, choosing the wrong bike could be an expensive mistake.  Get fit and choose the bike that works better.
