Pre-race routine:

Woke up around 4am and hit the road to Port St. Lucie. Got there, picked up my packet, set up transition and strolled around.
Event warmup:

Tread water! It was an in-water swim start, so I headed to the buoys and hung out.

The swim was almost perfect. My sighting wasn't phenomenal, but I managed to draft off of the same person almost the whole time!
Pretty sure the course was long. First woman out of the water, and 6th overall out of the water. No way was my pace that slow!

I could have gone harder. I was panicked about the bike distance. I ended up finding a running buddy and just chilling.

Nice race.   you looked like you performed well.   it is tough going from a half back to sprint were seconds count again.
