I use the zip tie method and it works for me.  I don't see a need to pay for systems that are more expensive when zip ties work just as well.  Actually I use 1 zip tie and 1 rubber band on the cage.  I zip tie the bottom of the cage, closest to the stem and I use a rubber band on the top of the cage, closest to the bar end shifters.  I find that the rubber band has enough tension to keep the cage snug, but allows various size and lengths of bottles to fit properly.

I just use a cage with zip ties too.  Only issue I've run into is that a full bottle will slowly wiggle itself out when full.  I put some anti-slip material along the bottom and a couple other points of the cage and that seems to keep it in place.  I might try the rubber band thing too...

GOOD...

I use a 18$ bontrager plastic cage with zip ties also...I use this exclusively for non-high temp shorter training rides 1-2 hours......I do have a speedfil also which I use in races or hot training rides which I want more fluid, and I think in my HIM I will use the speedfil for fluid replacement and the torpedo setup for either perpeteum etc

I use 4 zip ties 2 tied to the aerobars and 2 to the region near the stem and the bottle has never fallen off and comes out easy
