There were actually 15,000 people that participated in the various races and walks. There were only 142 that chose to be timed.
Post race
Warm down:

Met up with my friend, a cancer survivor, and walked the 5K with her team, Team Boobylicious.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My running skirt is too big (how did that happen?). It kept slipping down. I stopped and pinned it to my shirt so that I would not risk an "indecent exposure".

Event comments:

I love this race's celebration and rememberance of lost loved ones. So many beautiful wonem are diagnosed with cancer. The funds for this race support the needs of local woman and research for a cure for breast cancer.

Today was a glorious sunny day in Seattle. The Seattle Center race start and party was a perfect setting.
