What would you do differently?: Not much... great run with my Dad!  Post race
Warm down: Kept walking over the finish... got a bottle of water, my finisher's medal for the 35th year anniversary, got my food bag and banana. We then found a spot to stand and have some of our treats! What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing Event comments: This race has gotten a lot better!! Great race now! Dropped a pound of frozen ground beef on my toe the day before the race so I was not sure what was going to happen. Got up around 6 am and had some breakfast. Got ready with long pants and long sleeved shirt because the weather was so chilly. Left for Bellin 6:45 am and was there by 7:05 am. Went to the post race park and hit the port-o-potties. Went to our corral super early and just stood around watching others and waiting. Did the National Anthem around 7:50 am and then the gun went off at 8:00 am. We stood in the same spot until 8:10 am and then finally got across the start line by 8:18 am.
Walking from the car to the start line... it was actually .95 miles. That was quite a warm-up.
