Swim
Comments: I'm happy I wore my wetsuit as I might have drowned otherwise...seriously. It was way more intense than I had imagined it would be with people making contact, t-boning, etc.. I was gased big time at the end of the swim and had a hard time getting my heart rate down. What would you do differently?: Need more open water swimming experience, and more swimming in general. Transition 1
Comments: Went relatively well given my lack of experience getting out of a wetsuit. Bike
Comments: Based on my average HR and how my legs felt, I put all I had in the bike and it went well. The bike leg has never been a problem for me. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Transition 2
Comments: Again, this went well and was probably my best transition time to date. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Run
Comments: Once again my run is not up to par. I simply can't believe that my run fitness with erode that badly after all the training this spring. I know I've been slacking lately, but I think it's also my weight that's slowing me down. I also need to keep practicing brick sessions...legs didn't feel right for the 1st km. What would you do differently?: Lose weight, run more, do more brick workouts. Post race
Warm down: Walk around, drink some water. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training, carrying extra weight. Last updated: 2011-04-06 12:00 AM

Same ol' same ol'. I like to keep things consistent on race day mornings.
Didn't have time to warmup...got to the event a little late and had a mandatory pre-race meeting.
