I had an awesome race!!! Way beyond my expectations!! I was shooting for 7 hours, thinking if I had a really good day I'd come in around 6:30. My actual finish was 6:31. Pretty darn happy with that for my first 1/2. I really enjoyed the race and the venue, and I'm definitely going back for more next year!

Congrats to everyone on their finishes! It was tough out there with the heat and the humidity!

Headed home (back to Houston) for Galveston next year. I have not been to Galveston in years....I really don't remember it being very nice but hope the race is a good one! Ready to hit up Pappasitos for some Mexican Food and Margaritas after!! This will be my first race of 2013.
