Total Time = 31m 37s
Overall Rank = 58/71
Age Group = F30-39
Age Group Rank = 3/3
Pre-race routine:

got 4 hours of sleep.
Event warmup:

15 minute easy swim.
  • 31m 37s
  • 1760 yards
  • 01m 48s / 100 yards

went wetsuit free. made it about 1/3 of the way through the race when my energy and focus kind of went blergh. combo of lack of sleep and lots of work stress and apparently I am not fully recovered from GCBS last Sunday. Oh well, it was a fun day anyway.
What would you do differently?:

get some freaking sleep.
Post race
Warm down:

went to REI. :) left before awards, found out that due to my friend (also in my AG) wearing a wetsuit, I managed to eke out 3rd AG even though I was 4/4 in actual finish time. woo. time is a "naked" 1 mile OWS PR.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

so. f*cking. tired.

Event comments:

I feel like I shouldn't talk up this race because it's small and I keep getting HW even though I'm slow. So if you are not a woman in my AG, come swim. If you are in my AG, stay away or wear a wetsuit.

great job on little sleep.  I'll have to keep this in mind for next year.
