Found a place! Thanks!

If any BT-ers are going to be there, would love to meet up on Friday evening.

THIs sucks. Worst idea ever to changeto 12:30. 2 yrs ago was a nightmare witha  12:30 start.

I did the race last year. The change to a mid-day start definitely sucks. More traffic, especially on the bike out on the Madaket road, plus it's much hotter. Due to permitting restrictions the food after the race was also pretty lousy. I'd bring your own - last year all they had were packaged Rice Krispy Treats! I'm actually glad I'm not doing it this year - I'm doing the new Fairlee Olympic in VT instead.

Good luck to those competing.

Apparently lots of NIMBY's started crabbing the past week about the road closures for bike, etc (Despite having been approved over 6 months ago).  It will be brutal, I'm guessing during the bike/run.

Nate - thx for the heads up on the food. My ferry back isn't until 6 PM, so maybe I'll stop & get something downtown after the race.

Weather was certainly interesting. Never ran in a full fledged thunderstorm/lightning/fire-hose like rain storm. Overall thought it was good. Not a fan of the 1/3 mile run in T1. Great bike course.  I'd probably do it again.
