PR'd in a 5k

Veteran  355   Lakewood Ranch, Florida |  Subject: PR'd in a 5kI ran a local 5k on saturday and i ran a pace of 10 : 30 for the race, now, i know this is not real fast for most of you but for me .... well, lets just say it is the first time i ever paced below an 11 : 00 mile for anything running related. It was a flat course but i just wanted to pat myself on the back alittle anyway !!! Happy and safe 4th of July !!!

And 10:30 m/m might be slower than some here, but it's your PR so congratulations. (BTW, 10:30 is nothing to be ashamed of—I remember the joy last August of beating the 12:00 m/m mark for the first time.) |
