Comments:

Did a good job with food and drink only lost 2 pounds for the ride. I need to get a road bike. Pretty happy with overal day. I was at the end of my rope the last 4 miles Right side very bad Neck and shoulder tight right hand numb. Right Knee and hip hurting. both Hamstrinds and Quads about to give out but felt better as soon as I got off the bike. much better after shower and lunch. I was amazed at the different bike short make the only thing that did not hurt was my rear. I will not ride without them again
What would you do differently?:

Get a road bike or a tri bike
Post race
Warm down:

shower and stretch

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of work at that distance

Event comments:

One other thing I found out that for this kind of ride I do not need a camel back two bottes were fine except for one time I will add two more bottles behind the seat

This includes 45 min of breaks at three rest stops. Did the First 38 miles in 2:37 started off with a great paceline riding about 16 mile/hour or so. Very easy to stay with the group after about 20 miles most of them went a different route. Rode another 10 or so with a 4 man group going a little faster got droped when we hit the head wind. last I was on my own for the rest of the ride would occ get a draft from a passing group for a mile or two before being droped again

Nice ride there!
Take it easy for a day or two. Let the body recover from that ride.

Good ride! I bet it's a pretty one, down there around Sebring. I have been riding in Clermont when I've done races down there, and I love those central FL rolling hills.
