neither am I.

pretty sure he'll hang onto this attack but i dont think he'll hold with the time he has now.

i think this effort will hurt his TT tremendously tomorrow.

Is anybody besides a handful of Spaniards a fan?

And is it just me, or do LigSher have a thinly veiled contempt for Contador? They *never* say anything positive about him.

what sort of time do you think he needs to maybe even win tomorrow?  I think the stage is 45K, can he win by 2min? (may even need less, they way he looks right now)

He would have to win this stage by at least 3.5 minutes to have a chance at the overall. Not going to do it.

Did contatodor and andy work something out?  They wered talking befored they were cought, but when contador took off again it look like andy started, but then sat up and the same time it looked like cantador looked back and put his palm back.  I am sure I am reading into this, but dang that was a fun stage to watch

I'm actually sad.  This means in three days, I will have to start waiting for the Vuelta.  Which I don't really follow that much.

It's not televised on Versus, so I don't get to watch it....

I think Universal has the contract to air it through either 2011 or 2012. Maybe Versus will get it after that. At least, I can hope.

Not a chance. He will be lucky not to drop down further than 7th in the overall. I would think this race is between AS and Cadel now. I am cheering for Cadel cause I can not stand the Schlecks. Well that and I like Cadel.

In the good ole days when Versus was OLN, they showed the Giro and Vuelta daily.

They even showed the Tour Down Under daily.

I would think the Vuelta would be on the internet?

I'd love to watch it with Spanish commentators.

I have no doubt about Cadel taking 5" on F. Schleck tomorrow and finishing at least in 2nd, unless he has a mechanical or something crazy happens. But I do have some doubts about whether he can take 58" on A. Schleck on tomorrow's 43k TT, after leaving so much on the climbs these past two days.

At CdD, Evans finished this same TT in 6th, at 1:20 off Tony Martin's stage winning time. At Tour de Suisse, on a shorter (32k), though similarly profiled TT stage, A. Schleck finished 46th, at 2:32 back from Cancellara.

Did Evans leave enough in the tank?

go to steephill.tv and watch it on eurosport. They have excellent commentators and sean kelly knows everything there is to know about cycling unlike P&P.

The race today was awesome, I was just sad to see rolland get the win when voekler did so badly, to me that shows europecar had a TDF champion in their midst and the jersey landed on the wrong shoulders. Id be willing to be a large sum of money that rolland ends up as the GC guy for a new team next year. FDJ or AG2R if they are pro status will most likely pick him up.

I am a die hard contador fan, I even believe he isnt guilty of the clenbuterol charge, it was most likely accidental ingestion from one of the many suplements that these guys take. Also who would want to be taking a weight loss pill during a GT when these guys are struggling to get calories down. Blood transfusion you say? well thats all speculation like the rest of it.  I also believe of the favorites he was most likely the cleanest of them all for this tour because of the close scrutiny that he is under.

from little pistolero to pop gun...  after the race he's so unhappy that he isn't going to be first on the podium, the other two places mean nothing to him... the guys on Versus mentioned that it sounded like he wasn't going to push too hard in the TT for any attempt.... wow... how can he think that way when he doesn't know what might happen in front on him during that TT..  flat tires, crashes..   turn that around and look at the young American, Danielson, would probably KILL to change places with "pop gun" and finish anywhere on the podium...  did he race a bad race?  maybe.. under-estimating other riders this year? maybe.. gave it all in the Giro De Itaila (forgive my spelling as I have never seen this race), that's his problem because it has also been mentioned that its been years since someone won both in the same year... maybe the Giro was more important to him, instead of defending his TdF title... maybe he thought he could win both..  oh well...  as far as popping positive for a banned substance during the race last year, let WADA make the decision...

In the interview I watched he said he thought he could move up in the standings, possibly 3rd or 4th on a real good day. So I would think that means he is going to go hard tomorrow.

AS certainly did not take it easy the last few days either. So maybe the question should be "Does Andy Schleck have enough in the tank to hold on to the yellow jersey?" We find out tomorrow.

Or maybe he might be on equal time if he hadnt been involved in 4 crashes, 2 of which lost him time.
